Dr. Hussein Salia is the Finance Manager for the Ghana Agricultural Sector Investment Programme (GASIP). He is a Chartered Accountant, PFM consultant, Chartered Tax Expert and with a PhD in Accounting. He is a member of the following professional bodies: Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana), Chartered Institute of Taxation (Ghana), Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), the Liberian Institute of Certified Public Accountants, South Africa Institute of Tax Practitioners, and Institute of Internal Auditors (Ghana).

Dr. Salia has over 18 years of working experience in finance, accounting, auditing, taxation and business advisory services. He has worked in various capacities both locally and internationally. He has over eleven years of extensive experience in project financial management. He has provided project financial management services for various donor funded projects including the World Bank, the European Union, UNDP, USAID, African Capacity Building Foundation Project (ACBF), Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Millennium Challenge Corporation, African Development Bank, Swedish International Development Agency, FUNTIA SOROS, and DFID.

Dr. Salia has also served as a University Accountant and Finance Officer in the past. He is a lecturer (locally and internationally), academic publisher and a regular peer reviewer for six International Journals. He a is a Partner of Massim Consult, a Consulting firm that provides consulting & business advisory services, audit and assurance services, research services and training services.
